2008 PHEASANT HUNTING

           Dates:  Oct 21 thru Jan 1

           Shooting Times:      Oct 20 thru Oct 30—Noon to sunset

                                            Oct 31 thru Jan 6—10:00 am to sunset

           Limit:  Three rooster pheasant per person per day

 

COMPLETE PACKAGE:  $275/day/person includes hunting, lodging, breakfast, lunch in field, dinner, guide, dog, transportation and bird cleaning & freezing.

 

HUNTING & LODGING:  $250/day/person includes hunting, lodging, guide, dog, transportation and bird cleaning & freezing.

NEW — PRESERVE HUNTING

 

In response to requests we are now offering preserve pheasant hunts from Sep 1st thru Feb 28th.  This allows hunters to extend their hunting season, introduce young dogs to pheasant, combine dog training with a great hunting experience or bring sons and daughters on their first hunt.  The hunting packages and bird limits will be the same as the regular season.  Additional birds can be taken for an additional fee per bird.

2008 GOOSE HUNTING

           Dates:           Nov 8 thru Feb 9, 2007

           Shooting Times:  One half hour before sunrise to sunset

           Limit:             Three geese per day

          

COMPLETE PACKAGE:  $250/day/person includes hunting, lodging, breakfast, lunch in field, dinner, guide and transportation. 

 

HUNTING & LODGING:  $225/day/person includes hunting, lodging, guide and transportation.

 

HUNTING ONLY:  $200/day/person includes hunting, guide and transportation.

 

           Note:  Bird cleaning and freezing is available locally at            additional cost.

 

 

 

2008 SHARPTAIL GROUSE AND PRAIRIE CHICKEN

 

           Dates:  Sep 15 thru Jan 6

           Shooting Times:      Sunrise to sunset

           Limit:  Three grouse and five partridge per person per day

 

COMPLETE PACKAGE:  $325/day/person includes hunting, lodging, breakfast, lunch in field, dinner, guide, dog, transportation and bird freezing.

 

HUNTING & LODGING:  $300/day/person includes hunting, lodging, guide, dog, transportation and bird freezing.

2008 SPRING TURKEY HUNTING IN GREGORY COUNTY

 

We now offer spring turkey hunting in the beautiful hills of the Missouri River.  You will experience great hunting and breath taking scenery. 

 

2008 Spring Season dates are April 12th thru May 18th

 

You may hunt Turkey with either gun or bow.  Bow licenses are unlimited, gun licenses are limited and drawn by lottery.  The deadline for making your application is March 14th.  You can apply on-line at the following link:  http://www.sdgfp.info/wildlife/hunting/BigGame/Turkey.htm  License fee = $85.

 

HUNTING PACKAGE:  $400/day for one (1) male Turkey, hunting, lodging, transportation and 3 meals/day.
